Overwatch Coins, Credits and Mythic currency

Distinguish Coins, Credits, Mythic Prisms and dated reward offers without treating purchase history as an unspent balance.

Read the currency name as carefully as the number

Overwatch Coins, Credits and Mythic Prisms are separate balances with different uses. A large number without a currency label is not enough to assess what it can buy. When comparing an account, distinguish a current disclosed balance from a past purchase or a reward that might still require play or redemption.

This guide was reviewed on November 5, 2026. Currency offers and reward tracks change, so use the current in-game price and currency symbol for a particular item. Do not convert every currency into an assumed dollar value or add historical purchases to the remaining balance.

Keep the three core balances separate

The publisher’s Mythic Shop explanation establishes the currency separation. Check the actual item screen for its current price and eligible payment type.

A revised pass is not the original reward package

The October 2026 Season 5 announcement introduced revised Unvaulted Passes and explicitly excludes Coins and Mythic Prisms from those passes, among other rewards. An older screenshot of the original reward track therefore cannot establish what a revised pass will award now.

For any pass-related claim, record the exact pass, whether it is currently active or unvaulted, the progress already made and the reward you are trying to establish. “Owns a pass” and “has already received every original currency reward” are different statements. Use the present reward list to settle the difference.

Time-limited vouchers need dates

Blizzard’s 2026 BlizzCon Mythic Voucher offer had an October 5 redemption deadline. As of this guide’s review date, that deadline has passed. Its eligible bundle also excluded Aspects. This is a useful example of why “Mythic reward” is not a complete account description.

For a current voucher or event offer, check eligibility, redemption status, deadline and exact contents. A past event announcement is evidence of the offer that existed, not proof that a specific account can claim it today. Once a benefit is redeemed, inspect the resulting owned content rather than counting the voucher as an additional unspent asset.

Compare the balance you can establish

Suppose an account has several recorded Overwatch purchases but no disclosed current currency balance. The useful conclusion is that purchase activity is recorded; the remaining Coins, Credits and Prisms are unknown. Do not divide a transaction count into a guessed balance or assume every purchase was a skin.

If your goal is a particular cosmetic, compare accounts on explicit evidence of that item or on a verified current balance that the item actually accepts. Where that evidence is absent, keep the unknown visible. accs.io’s Overwatch illustrations identify the game, while the detail page supplies the account facts available for comparison.
