Checking Overwatch cosmetics in the Hero Gallery

A focused cosmetic-verification worksheet for exact item names, owned states and Mythic customizations, without inventing a full gallery inventory.

Verify the item, not just a familiar picture

To establish that an Overwatch cosmetic is available on an account, inspect the exact item in the signed-in game and distinguish an owned or equipped state from a preview or purchase offer. A hero’s default appearance, an attractive thumbnail and a transaction count are not a substitute for that check.

accs.io does not currently present a complete verified Hero Gallery inventory for every Overwatch account. Its character artwork is illustrative. Use the listing’s actual disclosed facts before purchase, and use the game to confirm any specifically described cosmetic after delivery.

Make a small wishlist before opening the gallery

Five exact items are easier to verify than a vague expectation of “lots of good skins.” Record the hero and full item name, then note the particular color or customization that matters to you. Do not assume similar-looking names describe the same version.

Check Mythic customizations separately

Mythic content can have separately unlocked customization levels. Owning a base Mythic skin does not automatically prove every color, effect or other available option is unlocked. Open the particular customization you care about and inspect its status instead of relying on the skin’s headline name.

The current Season 5 announcement itself describes different effects across Mythic levels. That is a useful reminder to write down the desired option rather than asking only whether the account “has the Mythic.” Avoid making a purchase merely to test whether a locked option would work; first determine what is already owned.

A missing item needs context before a conclusion

Check the selected hero, exact spelling, current filters and the signed-in account before assuming something has disappeared. Also distinguish cosmetic collection views from the progression screen. Blizzard’s Progression 2.0 explanation moved some hero-specific rewards into a dedicated progression experience, so an older guide’s menu location may not be the right place to look.

If you still cannot find an explicitly described item, capture the relevant view and the item name. Do not include passwords, authentication codes or private contact information. A useful screenshot establishes the observed state; it does not need to expose the entire account.

Use a precise post-delivery comparison

Compare what you see with the exact purchase description. “The listed cosmetic is locked” is different from “I expected this hero’s other skins to be included.” Keeping that distinction clear helps you decide whether there is a genuine mismatch or an expectation that the listing never established.

For a mismatch, use the private order-linked support thread and include the item, the observed state and when you checked it. Keep the original description and a redacted screenshot. If the listing does not disclose a full collection, evaluate it using the capabilities and purchase information it actually provides rather than treating the illustration as an inventory capture.
